An independent software practice for European companies

Software,
regrown.

The average company runs a CRM it has outgrown, an ERP it never fully implemented, and a dozen other tools filling the gaps between them. We map and reengineer the software around the way your team actually works — every workflow a candidate for automation.

Our mission

We build only the features you need, modelled on how your team actually works. No generic modules. No abandoned tabs. No paying for someone else's product roadmap.

Every workflow is a candidate for automation. Every report your team builds by hand, every spreadsheet that holds the business together, every form passed between inboxes — all of it is software that has not yet been written for you.

The pitfalls of traditional software.

Three numbers worth pausing on before another invoice from another vendor lands in another inbox.

One garden, three ways of tending it.

Every engagement begins with a quiet diagnosis. From there, the path forward takes one of three forms.

i. floraison in full bloom
i.

Floraison

flo·ʁɛ·zɔ̃ — French for "full bloom"

When only the whole system will do. We compost the legacy and let everything regrow from new roots.

A complete custom rebuild — architecture, services, data layer, interface — designed for the next decade rather than to defend the last one. We carry forward institutional knowledge and operational continuity, but the code itself is new ground.

Engagement
Six to eighteen months, fixed scope
Best for
Systems past the point of repair
Stack
Modern, opinionated, defensible
Outcome
A system you would build again
ii. greffe bound at the join
ii.

Greffe

ɡʁɛf — French for "graft"

Surgical replacement of failing components while the trunk lives on. New code is grafted onto the existing system.

A targeted reengineering that keeps the parts of the system that still serve, and replaces only what is failing or holding the rest back. Most of our work begins here. The graft is bound at a precise point — auth, data layer, a critical service — and the surrounding system carries on undisturbed.

Engagement
Three to nine months, modular
Best for
Systems with a sound foundation
Stack
Whatever yours is — we adapt
Outcome
New growth on existing wood
iii. pollen in dispersal
iii.

Pollen

pɔ·lɛn — identical in French and English

A swarm of small, autonomous AI agents that move through the codebase — cross-pollinating, automating, fertilising.

Quiet work, compounding effects. Pollen deploys agents tailored to your stack — for code review, dependency management, log analysis, documentation, security triage, regulatory monitoring. Each agent is small, supervised, and observable. Together they do the work that no team has time for.

Engagement
Six-week pilot, then steady-state
Best for
Repetitive engineering toil
Stack
Claude, local models, MCP, CI/CD
Outcome
A team that scales without growing
ii.

Five movements,
from soil to leaf.

Every engagement passes through the same five stages — at our pace or yours, but always in this order.

01.
Reading the soil diagnostic
Two to four weeks. We read the codebase, the architecture, the team, the institutional context. We deliver a written assessment in plain language. No assumptions, no theatre.
02.
Drawing the lines architecture
A proposed shape for the new system or graft, presented as drawings, written reasoning, and a fixed scope. You read it, you push back, we revise.
03.
Bringing it to leaf build
A small team, deployed weekly, working in two-week cycles with a public changelog. Your engineers join from week one. There is no handover at the end because we are never alone in the room.
04.
Roots that hold handover
Documentation written for the next engineer rather than the last. Runbooks, architectural decision records, a recorded walkthrough. We leave nothing in our heads alone.
05.
The years after tending
An optional retainer for the years after the build. Quarterly review, on-call for incidents you would rather not face alone, regulatory tracking. Most clients keep us close.
iii.

Twelve industries,
one practice.

We choose engagements where the legacy matters, where the regulation is real, and where the work will outlast the engagement. For each industry, what we typically build — and the workflows we automate underneath.

v.

Four commitments
we will not bend.

i.

Independence, fully.

We take no commission from any vendor, integrator, or platform. The recommendation we make is the one we believe in. Our only client is you.

ii.

European roots.

Based in Flanders, working across the Benelux and the European Union. Native fluency in Dutch, French, and English — and a working comfort with the regulations that shape the continent.

iii.

The work, itself.

We do not subcontract. Every line of code carries a name. Engagements are sized so that the founder is in the room — or one degree away — through the entire build.

iv.

The long memory.

We write documentation for the next engineer, not the last. We design systems to be inherited — by your successors, not by us. The relationship outlasts the contract.

vi.

The practice

Independent · founder-led

Reverdie is an independent software practice with more than a decade of engagements across banking, public administration, and cybersecurity at scale. The work covers core systems modernisation at European financial institutions, threat intelligence and compliance platforms, and the long transition of public infrastructure from on-premise to defensible cloud.

The studio holds the CISSP and CRISC certifications, publishes occasionally on architecture and emerging technology, and works fluently in Dutch, French, and English. We are based in Flanders and meet clients on site across the Benelux and the wider European Union.
